Terms of service

These terms apply when you use the Raadha Bookshop website and place orders on it. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them together with our refund policy and privacy policy.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time SMS code. Please keep access to your phone secure; you are responsible for orders placed after signing in with your number. Only Maldivian mobile numbers can be used.

Products and prices

• Prices are in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) and include GST.
• We try to show products, pictures and stock accurately, but stock is shared with our stores and can change. Availability is confirmed for your delivery area when you place the order.
• If a price or description is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund anything you paid before it is delivered.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm your order (by phone, SMS or by marking it confirmed). We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock or we cannot deliver to the address — and will refund any payment in full.

Payment

• Online: by debit or credit card through the Bank of Maldives Payment Gateway. Your order is treated as paid only after the bank confirms the payment.
• Cash on delivery: pay by cash or transfer when your order arrives.

Delivery

• We deliver to the areas listed at checkout. Delivery is currently free.
• Your order is fulfilled by the store that serves your area. We will contact you to arrange a delivery time; delivery times are estimates.
• Please check your items when they arrive and tell us about any problem as described in our refund policy.

Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Using the website

Please do not misuse the website — for example by placing fake orders, using another person’s mobile number, or trying to interfere with its security. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

Liability

We are responsible for the goods we sell as required by law. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Maldivian law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you place an order applies to that order.
