Refund policy
Last updated 24 September 2026
We want you to be happy with what you buy from Raadha Bookshop. If something is not right, this policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work for orders placed on our website.
Returns
You can return most items within 7 days of receiving your order. To be accepted, an item must be:
- unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging;
- accompanied by your order number (for example WEB/24) or receipt.
To start a return, email us at [email protected] or call 331 4012, 335 4012 or 686 4012 with your order number. We will tell you where to bring the item or arrange a collection within our delivery areas.
Items we cannot take back
- books, notebooks or activity books that have been written in, coloured or damaged after delivery;
- opened art and craft consumables (paints, clay, slime, glue and similar);
- gift cards and vouchers;
- items marked as final sale or clearance.
Damaged, faulty or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, please tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with a photo if you can. We will replace the item or refund it in full, including any delivery cost, at no charge to you.
Exchanges
If you would like a different item instead, we are happy to exchange it, subject to stock at the store that serves your delivery area. Any price difference is charged or refunded.
Refunds
Once we receive and check the returned item, we will let you know whether the refund is approved.
- Paid online by card (Bank of Maldives Payment Gateway): refunded to the same card. Banks usually take 5–10 working days to show the refund on your statement.
- Cash on delivery: refunded in cash at our store or by bank transfer to an account in your name.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel an order free of charge any time before it is marked ready for delivery. Contact us with your order number. If you already paid online, the full amount is refunded to your card.
Your rights
This policy does not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the Maldives.
